For a chimney in rough shape, Kevin can rebuild the brick, pour a new crown with top tile, install a stainless or aluminum liner and replace the flashing. When it’s done, the chimney looks and works like new.

Most jobs follow the same five steps, from the first call to the paid receipt.
- You call or send a requestTell Kevin what’s going on with the chimney. He’ll set a day and time to come out.
- Inspection and estimateHe looks over the chimney, explains what he found and gives you the price before he leaves.
- SchedulingYou pick a date for the work. Half is paid up front for materials, and you get an invoice for it.
- The workKevin keeps you posted if anything changes once the job is underway.
- Walkthrough and final paymentHe shows you before and after photos of the work. Once you approve it, you pay the balance and get a paid receipt.

How often should I have my chimney cleaned?
It depends on how much you burn. If you use the fireplace a lot, plan on a cleaning for about every cord of wood you burn. If you only light a few fires a season, once a year is fine. A gas log set still needs an inspection to see whether a cleaning or a refresh is due.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The visit and the estimate are free in most of the towns we serve.
What do you mean by a full restoration?
A brick rebuild, a new crown with top tile, a liner (stainless steel or aluminum, your choice) and new flashing. It’s the work an older chimney needs to look and work like new.
How do I pay?
By check or credit card. Half is due up front for materials when the job is booked, and the rest once the work is done and you’ve approved it.
