Chimneys around Des Plaines
Des Plaines homes range from older houses near downtown and in the Cumberland area to the brick ranches and split-levels of the postwar subdivisions, like Golf Terrace and Devonshire. Kevin sees a lot of furnace flues that need a liner and crowns that need replacing here, along with routine sweeps before the burning season.

Kevin also works in Park Ridge, Mount Prospect, Niles, Rosemont and Elk Grove Village, and the rest of our service area.
Before and after
Kevin photographs every job before he starts and again when he’s done, so you can see exactly what was fixed.
Des Plaines chimney questions
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. The visit and the estimate are free in most of the towns we serve.
How often should I have my chimney cleaned?
It depends on how much you burn. If you use the fireplace a lot, plan on a cleaning for about every cord of wood you burn. If you only light a few fires a season, once a year is fine. A gas log set still needs an inspection to see whether a cleaning or a refresh is due.
How do I pay?
By check or credit card. Half is due up front for materials when the job is booked, and the rest once the work is done and you’ve approved it.
