About the $99 cleaning
How often should I have my chimney cleaned?
It depends on how much you burn. If you use the fireplace a lot, plan on a cleaning for about every cord of wood you burn. If you only light a few fires a season, once a year is fine. A gas log set still needs an inspection to see whether a cleaning or a refresh is due.
What’s a Level 1 inspection?
It’s a check of the parts of the chimney and fireplace you can reach without special tools: the firebox, damper, smoke chamber, the visible flue and the outside of the chimney. It’s the standard check for a chimney that’s in regular use with no changes.
Can I use the $25 coupon on anything?
Yes. Use it toward a repair, tuckpointing, a cap install or your next cleaning.
